INDUSTRIAL ENGINEERNEW CONTRACT OPPORTUNITY AVAILABLE IN FILTON FOR AN INDUSTRIAL ENGINEER WITH EXPERIENCE ASSESSING MACHINING DETAILS AND ASSEMBLY DRAWINGSOn-site in FiltonInitial 6-month contract with a likely extension£32ph via Umbrella35 hours per week over 4.5 days1 stage interviewBPSS clearance required (client will provide sponsorship)WHAT WILL THE INDUSTRIAL ENGINEER BE DOING?This role will involve providing manufacturing expertise to support suppliers in the context of ME Industrial Capabilities with a particular focus on machine details, subassemblies and major components. The role sits within a team who support the introduction of Major mods and New Product introduction for key projects over multiple variants of aircrafts. Other responsibilities include:Proactive engagement in the Continuous Product Development processesUnderstand and influence cost drivers of a particular product or work packageSupporting industrialisation activities such as tooling reports, condition of supply, manufacturing specifications assessments and BoM comparisonsMaintain associated technical documentation and seek to assure supplier complianceWE NEED THE INDUSTRIAL ENGINEER TO HAVE THE FOLLOWING…Experience with Face to face meets with suppliersProject Management skills such as milestone managementExperience sitting in Design ReviewsAbility to understand drawingsExperience with CADAbility to obtain a BPSS clearanceTO BE CONSIDERED….Please either apply by clicking online or emailing me directly to .
