About the Role: We are looking for an experienced Industrial Team Lead to oversee a team of industrial cleaners and labourers for our client, a leading waste management company based in Sittingbourne. This is a great opportunity for a motivated and experienced individual to lead a team and ensure the smooth running of industrial cleaning operations.
Key Responsibilities:

• \nTeam Leadership: Supervise and manage a team of industrial cleaners and labourers, ensuring high performance and efficiency.

• \nOperational Management: Oversee daily tasks and ensure all cleaning and waste management activities are completed on time and to a high standard.
  \n
\n
• \nHealth & Safety: Ensure all health and safety regulations are adhered to, promoting a safe working environment for the team.
  \n
\n
• \nTraining & Development: Provide guidance, support, and training to team members to help develop their skills and improve performance.
  \n
\n
• \nPerformance Monitoring: Monitor and assess team performance, providing feedback and addressing any performance issues.
  \n
\n
• \nScheduling & Reporting: Organize and schedule work shifts and report to management on team activities, performance, and any issues that arise.
  \n
\n
• \nQuality Control: Ensure all work meets company standards and quality expectations.
  \n

Skills & Experience:

• \nEssential:
  \n
  • Previous experience as a Supervisor or Team Leader in an industrial or waste management environment.
    \n
  \n
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
    \n
  \n
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations in an industrial setting.
    \n
  \n
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise with clients and management.
    \n
  \n
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
    \n
  \n
  \n

• \nDesirable:
  \n
  • Experience within the Waste Management or Industrial Cleaning industry.
    \n
  \n
  • Forklift or other relevant industrial certifications.
    \n
  \n
