Title: UK Industry Sales Manager, RenewablesLocation: Remote, UKSalary: Up to £65K + bonus + carFrankland Automation is currently working in an exclusive partnership with a highly recognised global automation manufacturer. We are searching for an UK Industry Sales Manager who will be responsible for the renewables sector, with a particular focus on the hydrogen industry. This new role, created due to huge demand, will take point on the sales strategy, partner management, and, ultimately, revenue growth for the sector across the UK. Supported by a large team of engineers, your role will be focused on commercial relationships and increasing market presence.Why the hydrogen industry?The hydrogen industry in the UK is experiencing significant growth and development. According to the UK government's Hydrogen Strategy, the country aims to establish a low-carbon hydrogen economy with a production capacity of up to 10GW by 2030. This goal has doubled from the previous target set in the government's 10 Point Plan for a Green Industrial Revolution​ (GOV.UK)​​.To support this growth, the UK government has introduced various funding initiatives, including a £105 million package through its Net Zero Innovation Portfolio. This funding supports the development of low-carbon hydrogen alternatives for industrial fuels and aims to decarbonise sectors heavily reliant on fossil fuels​.The hydrogen sector's expansion is expected to create numerous skilled jobs and stimulate investment, particularly in regions with a strong industrial and energy heritage. This development aligns with the UK's broader net-zero targets and aims to position the country as a global leader in hydrogen technology.Who are we hiring for?A genuinely global automation manufacturer with a 50+ year heritage.
