Monitor the performance of the systems and networks and identify how performance can be improvedSupporting the delivery of all IT operational services and the integrity of Acro’s IT infrastructure so that the company is legally compliant and operating with all necessary licensesManage upgrade projects with the Infrastructure team, ensuring minimal business disruption at all timesManagement of the IT support team and IT service providersEnsure that security policies and procedures are being operated across all IT services and infrastructure and that an effective risk management approach is in force to assess and mitigate risks regularlyUse a Service Management system to manage all IT service requirements and day-to-day issues to ensure operational requirements for internal customers are effectively managedEnsure that all new starters are adequately trained in all matters covering core IT and telecommunications servicesActively playing a part in the 24x7 IT Support ServiceTravel to other locations as and when requiredTo be successful in this position, you will have/be;Working knowledge of Service Delivery methodologies and security standards, ITIL and ISO27001Good problem-solving, analytical and decision-making skills, with the ability to determine the approximate impact of each issue quicklyExcellent people (user) management and time management skills, with the ability to plan and prioritise workloadExperience in supporting and continuously improving an IT Service function and establishing appropriate processes and governanceStrong working knowledge of IT infrastructure components (e.g. networking, data centre, desktop, IT security, firewalls, Virus and Malware control) and experience in supporting, implementing and integrating a portfolio of on-premise and Cloud-based services (e.g. M365, SaaS)In-depth understanding of Windows 10, Windows Server, including Active Directory, DNS and DHCPKnowledge of LANs, WANs, MPLS, VLANs, VPNs and firewall technologies.Mobile Device ManagementSupporting remote and agile workersSupporting engineering user environments is desirable; CAD (Catia / SolidWorks), Altair Hyperworks, and SmarTeam document managementEffective support of major service incidentsWorking knowledge of security best practices and how these can be optimised in an IT operational environmentOccasional work outside of regular UK office hours, to support maintenance requirements and to react to exceptional work requirementsThe Parent Company of ACRO Aircraft Seating is Zhejiang Tiancheng Controls Co., Ltd headquartered in China.We really want to hear from you, so don’t miss your opportunity to join us!
