The Role

As an IT Graduate here you will be gaining hands-on experience in various aspects of IT and you will work with experienced professionals, contributing to exciting projects, and developing your skills in a real-world setting. You will need to be able to start on the 10th September 2024 for this role. We will also need you to be able to interview at short notice. Please only apply if you can start in September.What you will be doing The technology department is currently undergoing a transformation and some of the IT systems are being upgraded and replaced, therefore it would be an ideal opportunity for a graduate with new ideas to join the team and be part of the journey. You will support some of the key areas within IT and be part of teams that deliver vitally important projects within IT. The graduate programme placement involves an immersive 3 week induction before 4 x 6 month rotations in the following areas: Rotation 1: Project Delivery - Undertaking a Business Analyst / Project Manager role and understanding how we deliver projects and how change takes place in the technology department. Rotation 2: Architecture - Understanding the technology architecture, enabling the business to operate successfully.Rotation 3: Service Delivery - Understanding all of the IT systems that the team support on behalf of the business, working with multiple 3rd party suppliers.Rotation 4: Information Security – Working with the Info Sec team understanding how we tackle Governance, Risk and Compliance as well as learning how our Info Team function.Throughout the 2 year programme you will have the opportunity to have quarterly check-ins with our Chief Information Officer, some structured development interventions, the opportunity to work on key projects with other graduates on your cohort and more.What we are looking for Bachelor's degree in a related field (For example, Business Management, Information Technology, Computer Science etc.)Basic knowledge of IT and the tools used within ITStrong numerical and analytical skillsEagerness to learn and adapt to new technologiesStrong communication and interpersonal skills How we reward our teams Hybrid Working Model from home and in the office4pm Friday FinishFlexible Working24 Days holiday, plus your Birthday off, plus Bank Holidays with an opportunity to buy extra days holidayFamily Friendly LeaveCompetitive Pension ContributionSharesave SchemeAnnual Bonus based on company and personal performanceCompetitive SalaryStaff Discount Card for stores and onlineAbout us
