Information Technology Project Manager

IT Project Manager 6 month contract (Inside IR35) - 4 days a week£500 - 550 a day Hybrid working - Leeds/ Manchester Our client are in the rail sector that are now looking for an IT Project Manager to recover a training simulation project. This new technology will completely change how the client delivers training methods to their drivers and define industry standards and best practices. They have procured a supplier from Poland but are having challenges managing them effectively.This is a very exciting and challenging project as you will be integral in managing the supplier and holding them to account for deliverables to avoid impacting delivery. You will initially need to conduct a thorough review of project requirements and plans, re-baselining the project, develop standardisation of documentation and processes then ensure the prototype is delivered on time with a relevant plan for delivery and installation. The key challenge is keeping the supplier adheres to project standards and quality. Experience & Skills Over 6+ years as an IT Project Manager A track record in delivering IT Projects Experience turning around a struggling project, re-baselining it to deliver on time and to a high quality Experience delivering third-party IT systems with a heavy focus on managing a supplier Must have experience working with foreign suppliers and the challenges faced in this environment Previous experience delivering simulators is desirable but not essential If this is of interest please apply for the role or send your CV to Jake at #####
