Job DescriptionIT Infrastructure & Operations AnalystThis role encompasses supporting and maintaining IT infrastructure and operational software and services aligned with corporate goals and operational requirements. The analyst will also manage services within specific technical specialisms, as determined by the infrastructure & operations manager.Job Summary:IT infrastructure and Operations Analyst at Bryer Ash, reporting to IT infrastructure and Operations Manager. This is a 2nd line position.Deliver, support, and maintain the core business line applications database systems infrastructure and operational software and services.Take ownership of services within one or more technical specialism with a focus on Application support and optimisation.Hybrid – 2 to 3 days a week in officeSpecific Tasks and Responsibilities:Provide efficient and effective support service to the business specialising on the core applications used by the finance team and housing management teamsDesign, planning, testing, and delivery of new and existing systems.Ensure solutions are resilient secure and scalable.Contribute to continuous improvement.Contribute to a culture of collaboration.Encourage and coach stakeholders and customers in the adoption and use of systems.Outputs and Measures:System and service improvements.Documentation and records.Controls, monitoring, and alerts.Configured hardware assets.SLA compliance, customer satisfaction, availability, reliability, and efficiency.Experience:Must have demonstratable broad experience in the following areas:Desktop SupportWindows ADDatabase Management ExperienceExperience supporting CRMS, Financial management systems, or Housing Management SystemsMicrosoft 365, application management,Cyber security, Automation and orchestration,Scripting and CodingWeb sites and Web ApplicationsOther Information:No budgetary control.Technical coach and mentor to junior staffCollaborate on standardsMay work a variety of portfolios within the companyMust comply with company health and safety, equality, and diversity policies.Person specification includes essential and desirable qualifications, experience, abilities, skills, and attitude.Development OpportunitiesPotential Career Development paths include:Microsoft Azure Admins and Solutions ArchitectSecurity and Cyber specialistIntegration ArchitectKey Projects and Objectives Up and ComingAzure Cloud Migration Cyber Security improvements program DR improvementsRolling Housing Management Application Upgrades and integrations*Dynamics and Power Platform IntegrationsJames Andrews is acting as an employment agency and business in relation to this role.At James Andrews Recruitment Solutions we try to respond to all applications personally, however, due to the high volume of applications this is not always possible.
