Job Title: Infrastructure EngineerIndustry: InsuranceJob Type: 6 Contract **Inside IR35**Day Rate: £475 – £650 ** Dependant on experience**Star Date: ASAPLocation: Remote/Occasional travel into the London officeThe Role: Supporting Projects implementing new infrastructure into the company environmentProvide 3rd level IT support to respond and resolve incidents escalated to the team in a timely manner.Ensuring compatibility and interoperability of computer systems.Review and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems and develop strategies to improve implementation decisions.Conduct research on hardware and software products, justify recommendations, and support purchasing and service improvement activities.Actively assist in the design and implementation of long-term strategic objectives and short-term tactical plans for the management and maintenance of enterprise systems and software.Develop, document, communicate, and enforce policies and procedures to standardize systems and software as appropriate.Manage, build, support, and maintain all server components in your environment.Working with Architects to build Environments bases on HLD Designs and other teams to ensure that we adhere to the required standards/patterns etcRequirements: Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Technologies including Windows Server, Active Directory and ideally Exchange and/or SQL Server.Strong knowledge of AWSAzure experience.Knowledge of Snowflake from an administrative perspectiveExcellent knowledge of Microsoft 365 services.Strong Working knowledge of DevOps principals and technologies (IAC) such as Terraform and Ansible.Research indicates that men will apply to a role when they only meet 50-60% of the descriptions, however, when looking at women and other minority groups, they can look for up to a 99% match in order to apply to a role.
