Overview: Are you an experienced and highly skilled Project Developer? Join our clients dynamic and growing team to lead energy infrastructure projects through the planning process and deliver successful outcomes.This role will guide large-scale renewable infrastructure projects through the Development Consent Order (DCO) process. Utilize your project management and stakeholder engagement expertise to achieve final consent.Key Responsibilities:Project Management and Planning:Lead key elements of complex infrastructure projects in the energy, rail, and aviation sectors.Coordinate and manage consenting strategies and overall consent management.Oversee the production and review of examination deadline submissions.Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including local planning authorities, legal teams, and environmental workstreams.Stakeholder Engagement and Consultation:Act as the planning representative at statutory and non-statutory consultation events.Record and analyze feedback from various consultations.Draft specialist planning responses and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.Technical Planning and Advisory:Provide technical planning advice to ensure project compliance with planning regulations and best practices.Collaborate with environmental and legal teams to support project development and risk management.Lead design change management processes and mitigate consenting risks.Project Coordination and Support:Manage various workstreams, including EIA and stakeholder engagement.Integrate consenting requirements and legal considerations into project design and development.Provide planning and project management support, including project reporting and governance.Qualifications and Key Requirements:BSc or MSc in a related field (Town Planning, Environmental Planning, etc.).Extensive experience in infrastructure planning, particularly in energy, rail, and aviation sectors.Strong understanding of local planning authorities and experience in engaging and negotiating with councils.Experience with the full lifecycle of the DCO process, working for a developer, consultancy, local authority, or other relevant party
