Infrastructure Specialist

I am currently assisting a leading London market insurer to recruit an Infrastructure Specialist. This leading company has a reputation for specialist underwriting excellence, great people and innovative products. As part of one of the world’s largest insurance groups within the London market. This role is based onsite with some opportunity for hybrid working to join their growing infrastructure team.The Infrastructure Specialist role is to plan, design, develop, and launch efficient operational systems to support core organisational functions; this includes IT Projects, Continual Service Improvement, and BAU activities.You will ideally have:• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft technologies including Windows Server, Active Directory and ideally SQL Server and/or Microsoft 365.• Excellent knowledge of VMware.• Working knowledge of cloud-based solutions such as AWS and Azure.• Previous experience working with a variety of technology stacks for compute, storage, virtualisation and network products ideally consisting of Cisco UCS, HP Nimble, Pure, and others
