Injection Moulding Process Engineer

Join a dynamic and growing leader in plastic manufacturing! They are on the lookout for a talented Plastic Injection Moulding Process Engineer to enhance their team.

In their cutting-edge facility, you'll play a key role in optimising processes, driving cost and time efficiencies, conducting tool trials (NPI), and tackling complex production challenges.

***Up to �40,000, days Monday - Friday***

As an Injection Moulding Process Engineer your duties will include:

• Running tool trials for new product lines.
• Identifying areas for improvement and implementing process optimisation.
• Trialling of new materials/grades.
• Working with management / setters / material suppliers / toolroom / maintenance / machinery suppliers to find the root cause of processing issues.
• Liaising with the toolroom on modifications or repairs to existing tooling

To be successful in the role of Process Engineer, the ideal candidate will:

• Possess a thorough understanding of plastic injection moulding, covering processing, materials, tooling, machinery and problem solving.
• Hold formal plastic injection moulding training or be able to demonstrate equivalent knowledge following a scientific moulding process.
• Have demonstrable experience of process optimisation and trouble shooting.
• Have a solid knowledge of a range of polymers and their characteristics.
