Role Description:
Bridge Recruitment are delighted to announce we are currently networking for an Installation Technician to join the Team of one of our clients, a leading hygiene installation company with customers all over the UK. Now in their 14th year, our client has seen significant growth, and is now looking to expand and continue delivering a first-class service to customers. As Installation Technician, you will be responsible for installing hygiene systems and equipment, performing routine maintenance to ensure optimal performance and adhering to all health and safety regulations at all times. The ideal Installation Technician will proven experience in a similar role, preferably in hygiene systems or a related field, and will possess strong customer service skills and problem solving skills. Responsibilities:
Install hygiene systems and equipment such as hand sanitising stations, air purification systems, water filtration units and bathroom hygiene devices
Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to understand system layouts and installation requirements
Perform routine maintenance on hygiene systems to ensure optimal performance
Troubleshoot and repair faulty or malfunctioning equipment promptly
Replace worn or damaged parts using hand tools and power tools
Conduct regular inspections of installed systems to ensure compliance with safety and hygiene standards
Adhere to all health and safety regulations during installations and maintenance tasks
Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and maintenance activities
Communicate effectively with clients to explain the installation process, maintenance procedures, and safety guidelines
Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally
Provide training to clients on the proper use and maintenance of hygiene systems
Manage inventory of tools, equipment and spare parts necessary for installations and repairs
Complete all necessary paperwork and documentation accurately and on time
Prepare and submit reports on work completed, including any issues or recommendations for improvement
Requirements:
Technical or vocational training in a related field is preferred
Previous experience as an installation technician, preferably in hygiene systems or a related field
Proficiency with hand tools and power tools
Ability to read and interpret technical documents
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and materials
Ability to work in various environments, including confined spaces and at heights
Physical stamina to perform manual labor and stand for extended periods
