Instrument / Automation – Remote UK Staff - £50k - £65kRenewables / Oil&Gas / Petrochemical / Refinery / Paper / Energy HydrogenWe have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Automation Engineer within our growing automation team. You will be joining our wider C&I team as a senior Automation Engineer and will be based in London.We’re looking for a candidate with proven experience in an engineering design or commissioning organisation, preferably within the process Industry.Role and Responsibilities:You will:Design control hardware system, write, commission, and trouble shoot SCADA/DCS software (PCS7, TIA Portal, WinCC, etc…) tailor made for Plastic Energy Technology and processes.Ensures Automation team delivers a quality product that meets the User Requirement Specification (URS), Cause & Effect (C&E), P&ID.Work closely with the engineers of the other disciplines and operational sites.You will also oversee and develop the technical abilities of junior engineers within the team.You’ll use your experience to delegate activities based on the individual team member’s knowledge, experience, and ability.Person Specification:Degree in Control and Automation Engineering or related Engineering disciplineProven experience in an engineering design or commissioning organisation, preferably within the Process Industry.The right candidate must be adept in the use of PCS7 system from Siemens.Knowledge in instrumentations, P&ID, URS (User Requirement Specification), Cause and Effect Matrix, etc…Experience programming and troubleshooting Drives (VSD, DOL,…) and safety PLC systems will be appreciated.CVs to #####
