Instrument Technician

Our premier client is looking for an Instrument Maintenance Technician for its facility in Fife.
The main functions for this role include:
Installing and Maintaining Instrument Equipment
Test and Repair Instrumentation Systems
Evaluation of instruments to establish plans for repair
In addition to the main functions, responsibilities will include:
Plan, update and oversee all activities according to the laws, regulations and standards which follow the specifications and procedures
Support and encourage collaboration across teams
Being responsible and accountable for control systems
Apply for work permits through the Permit to Work System
Ensures the completion of work according scheduled by the Maintenance Programme
Help develop team technical skills
Use Management of Change requests on control related equipment and installation inspections consistent with Operations Integrity Management Systems (OIMS)
Qualifications / Experience:
Associated degree and relevant qualifications
Experience in maintaining Instruments and Controls in processing plant
Familiarity with regulations associated to oil and gas facilities
H&S expertise
