Interim ‘Head of Neighborhoods' project lead

9-month initial Contract22 hours a week£750 - £950 per day inside IR35 depending on Experience I am recruiting an interim ‘Head of Neighborhoods' project lead is required to head up the implementation of a new model of neighborhood working within Local Council. We are seeking an experienced and strategic leader to drive the implementation of a new model of neighborhood working. This role is critical in realising our vision of better engagement with residents and empowering our members to be effective community leaders.Responsibilities:Change Management: Collaborate with HR and TU colleagues to smoothly implement the new neighborhood working model, ensuring minimal disruption to existing staff.Procedural Matters: Handle procedural aspects related to the new model, including documentation and compliance.Ward-Based Communications: Develop and implement effective ward-based communication strategies, drawing from best practices in other local authorities.Budget Management: Work closely with the finance team to allocate resources appropriately and consolidate the new budget package.Essential Qualifications:Knowledge of and familiarity with neighborhood working.Experience working with Local Authorities.If you’re passionate about community development and ready to make a meaningful impact, we encourage you to apply!
