Elevation Recruitment are delighted to be supporting a manufacturing business in the Scunthorpe area to recruit an Interim Accountant to join their finance team. This role will support with the BAU finance activities, whilst the business go through a new accounting system implementation. Duties will include, but not be limited to: Monthly profit and loss reporting and balance sheet reconciliations Preparation and submission of quarterly VAT returns Oversight and maintenance of ledgers (nominal, receivable, payable) Monthly reporting and analysis of aged inventory. Overhead analysis Actual vs Budget reporting on a departmental level. Capex reporting and maintenance Ensuring relevant project paperwork is complete and projects are capitalized upon completion, group reports are completed in a timely and accurate manner. Monitor and control intercompany recharges and reconciliations Processing of expenses, credit cards etc Preparation and processing of supplier payment runs Submission and reconciliation of monthly payroll Quarterly Stock Counts Other adhoc duties as required To be successfully considered, you will bring the following skills and experience: Ideally Part or Fully AAT / CIMA / ACCA qualified Experience working within a broad accounting role Proven time management and attention to detail skills Accounting software experience - ideally SAP Strong Excel and reporting skills This role is an initial 12 month term.
