Interim Accountant

10 month maternity contract for a commercial business based near Wetherby to support the Financial Controller and Financial Director.
The role is varied and will include one day working from home.
The main duties include;

• Assisting with preparation of monthly financial reports
• Analysing financial data with variance commentary
• Posting Journals
• Managing Accruals & Prepayments
• Monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations
• Maintain Fixed Asset Register
• Preparation of CIS and VAT Returns
• Intercompany Reconciliations
• Managing financial transactions
• Assisting with the audit processes
