Your new company
Exciting opportunity to join a local authority in Essex within their Estates team on a temporary basis for a minimum of three months to work on a specific project. You will be joining an experienced and expanding Estates team and will work alongside personable and like-minded individuals. This is an excellent opportunity for an assistant level individual to gain a variety of experience working on a diverse portfolio of non-residential property.

Your new role
As the interim Assistant Estates Surveyor, you will be working on an Asset Management project which will include visiting sites within the portfolio and interpreting lease documentation in order to create an updated portfolio asset register of the organisation's non-residential property. This will involve reading and interpreting lease and rent information and collating the information into a database in order for informed, strategic decisions to occur. This is an excellent opportunity to develop existing landlord and tenant knowledge working with a broad variety of properties.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful for this role, you will either be required to hold a property related degree or have gained experience interpreting lease and rent information. A driving licence and access to a vehicle is required and you should live within commutable distance of Essex.
