p strong Role: /strong Interim Associate Dean (Academic Quality Enhancement) /p p strong Start /strong : ASAP, early October /p p strong Contract: /strong c. 6 months /p p strong Remuneration: /strong c. £80k pa FTC /p p strong Days: /strong Full time /p p strong Location /strong : London - 3-5 days onsite pw /p p br br If you would like to know a bit more about this opportunity, or are considering applying, then please read the following job information. br /p p strong Role Purpose /strong /p p The role of Interim Associate Dean (Academic Quality Enhancement) will contribute to the development and improvement of provision for the University and its partner campuses. /p p br /p p strong Role Priorities /strong /p ul li strong Monitoring and evaluation /strong : Working in close collaboration with the University’s Planning and Quality teams, to provide data and analysis to inform the monitoring, evaluation and improvement of our taught provision, including compliance with quality procedures and processes. /li li strong Enhancement: /strong Working with the Deputy Vice Chancellor, Dean, Academic Heads of Departments and Director of Learning & Teaching to identify, manage and coordinate activities to improve the student experience and core metrics for retention, continuation, progression and satisfaction, aligned to the Academic Strategy. /li li strong New provision: /strong Working with the Deputy Vice Chancellor, Dean, Academic Heads, and Head of Academic Partnerships, to manage and support the development, validation and recruitment to new provision at the university and in partnership institutions. /li li strong Academic Quality and culture: /strong Working with the Academic Heads of Department to develop course teams, including sessional staff in their knowledge of quality assurance and enhancement processes and requirements. /li li strong Academic infrastructure: /strong As directed, to deputise for the Dean in the management of committees, boards, working groups, projects and personnel. /li /ul p br /p p strong The Person /strong /p ul li Experience of working in an HE environment as Head of Department level or higher, with a proven track record of driving improvement in student outcomes /li li Considerable experience of leadership and management of project activity, teams and aligned resources and budgets. /li li A good understanding of the national quality assurance standards and enhancement requirements in UK HE with relevant experience in QA policy, processes and procedures. /li li Knowledge of educational pedagogy and current developments in FE, UG, PG /li /ul p br /p p If this opportunity is of interest, please forward your CV to strong ##### /strong with your availability to start.
