Role: CAPEX Procurement Manager
Rate: up to £700 p/d inside IR35
Location: Remote with some travel to Clitheroe
Client: FTSE 100 Chemical & Sustainable Technology firm
Duration: 6 months
Role Overview:
An interim Capital Project Procurement Lead to support on £multi-billion Capital projects for Energy, Civil Works, Mechanical Engineering, and Equipment, for a FTSE 100 Leader in Sustainable technology.
You'll write and define project strategy, pull together requirements, look at the contractual strategy for packages, and carry out competitive tendering.
The role requires a good understanding of contractual terms e.g. ICHEME suite and NEC4.
Key Requirements:
7-10 years' experience within a project Procurement role in chemical, oil & gas, life science industry
Experience capital project procurement management gained within industrial /construction projects
Knowledge and experience in managing major engineering/contractor firms, as well as construction subcontractor base.
Understanding of IChemE & FIDIC type contract templates
