Interim Chief Executive Officer

We are working in partnership with a Government organisation to appoint an Interim Chief Executive for circa 18 months. The role will lead the organisation through a period of transition in an evolving policy landscape.Our client establishes and develops long term commercial partnerships with organisations across the Public Sector and with specific elements of the Private Sector. It is co-located in London and the North West, with the successful applicant splitting time equally between both locations as well as maintaining close links with the devolved authorities in Scotland and Wales.Change leadership is the central theme, including elements of culture change, innovation and organisational improvements initiatives while continuing to deliver business as usual and mitigating against service disruption. The stakeholder landscape is rich and complex bringing an ambassadorial element, influencing layered networks of senior stakeholder in Government and across the Public Sector.You will have a track record of successful appointments where delivery of key objectives during the contractual period has been a key feature. Additionally, you will instigate, develop and foster high value alliances and partnerships, and operate effectively within a political context.
