Interim Commercial Finance Manager Fashion Retail

You ll be working in a friendly and supportive finance team, and will be reporting directly into the Director of Commercial Finance. The role Analyse monthly cost reports for all head office departments and report findings to the senior team. Foster relationships with internal peers to understand and predict overhead costs. Conduct monthly budget review meetings with each department and establish action plans. Present financial information to store managers at area meetings. Assist the property team in preparing new store proposals, rent reviews, and other Capex expenditures. Develop new business plans and proposals, providing recommendations to the senior team. Provide insightful analysis to support and challenge commercial and operational decision-making. Create and implement the strategic business roadmap. Supervise and evaluate weekly trade analysis for all business channels focusing on sales, margins, and stock. Assist the core finance team by conducting monthly budget analyses across all P&L lines. Participate in monthly P&L and balance sheet reviews, taking responsibility for commercial finance and brand actions. Oversee and prepare the annual budget, quarterly forecasts, and the five-year plan with support from the commercial finance analyst. Conduct monthly balance sheet and cash flow forecasting. About you Qualified Accountant CIMA/ACCA/ACA/CA or equivalent Experience operating in a multi-site environment Previous retail experience beneficial A proactive, driven, and organised individual with a forward-thinking mindset and a logical approach to problem-solving. Highly motivated to challenge current processes and pursue improvements. A team player with excellent communication skills, capable of collaborating with and influencing senior management, business stakeholders, and other finance teams.
