Interim Deputy Head of Care and Quality Lead

We are currently recruiting for an Interim Deputy Head of Care and Quality Lead to join a well known organisation and support the Head of Care in continuously improving the quality of care, support, and learning.
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of a safe, effective, caring, responsive, and well-led service that meets or exceeds the expectations of both internal and external quality assurance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the delivery of high-quality, person-centred services ensuring safety and effectiveness.
• Lead on CQC monitoring and audits, ensuring that standards are met.
• Take responsibility for Safeguarding and Health and Safety matters in partnership with the Head of Care.
• Work with care staff and specialist services to create an inclusive environment.

Requirements:

• Qualification in Care Management (Level 5 or equivalent).
• Proven experience in staff management, supervision, and developing staff.
• Strong knowledge and experience of operating service user/learner development plans.
• Experience managing staff in a residential care setting.
• Understanding of CQC Essential Standards of Quality and Safety.
• Knowledge of the regulatory framework
• Previous experience in a Registered Manager capacity is highly desirable.
