The successful candidate will lead a team of X4 through a change project; supporting with the delivery of internal and external communications. Working for a Bristol based business; the successful candidate can work remotely and join across a 5 month Fixed Term Contract.

Description
The successful Interim Head of Communications and Marketing will join on a 5 month Fixed Term Contract and be responsible for;
- Leading and managing media, social media and communications activities and provide strategic guidance and support to ensure consistent communication.
- Support the Executive team with crisis management and reputation management internally and externally during a period of change.
- Support the marketing team and Executive committee to develop a compelling brand strategy.
- Leading a team of brand and communications professionals to drive performance during a period of transformation.
- Supporting external engagement of supporters, volunteers and partners during a period of significant change.
Profile
The successful Interim Head of Communications and Marketing should have;
- Experience of responding to competing deadlines and managing multiple tasks and priorities in a busy media and communications environment
- Experience of leading and managing multi-disciplinary communications teams, from aspects of the communication process from commissioning to publication
- Experience of managing reputation threats and crisis communications.
- Management of digital channels and content marketing
- Experience of leading people through a period of significant organisational change.
- Good understanding of how brands drive awareness, engagement and supporter acquisition in a charity.
Job Offer
A remote contract with considerable responsibility and exposure to senior leadership. The role can be based across England.
