Interim Head of Finance

The Client: A London based Charity dedicated to empowering women and girls from a young age The Role: This Interim Head of Finance Role will look to manage the organisation's financial resources and finance function effectively thus supporting the Senior Management Team to enable the charity to deliver high quality services and programmes, which meet the needs of internal and external stakeholders. Lead the development and review of annual accounts and budgets, and forecasts[AS1] and reforecasts. Take overall responsibility for preparation of management reporting, annual statutory accounts and audit matters to ensure compliance with statutory requirements. Act as financial adviser to the Senior Management Team, providing sound advice, guidance and information on organisational performance, risks and opportunities. Provide relevant financial management information and explanations to the trustees' Audit, Finance and Risk Committee ('AFR') to facilitate effective governance. Manage the submission of regulatory and tax returns in the UK, including VAT The Successful Candidate: Qualified Accountant Demonstrable experience at Head of Finance/ Head of level ( ideally within the Charity sector with an understanding go of SORP) Demonstrable experience in managing teams within similar size organisations Hands on management of finance including leading Audit and all Month end and reporting duties What's on offer: Day Rate c. £400 - £500 p/day Equivalent salary range: £80,000 - £90,000 12 months Interim Cover Hybrid working ( 2 - 3 days in the office) Timings: Tuesday 25th June - Shortlist 4-5 July Interview stage 1 8 July Interview stage 2 #J-18808-Ljbffr
