Our client, a global organisation with a reputation for providing excellent service to its customers, as well as a flexible and enjoyable working environment, is looking to hire a Management Accountant on an interim basis. This is a hybrid role and a fixed term contract until Feb 2025, so candidates must be available immediately to start as soon as possible and be able to commute to Luton 2 - 3 days per week.
Main duties include:
* Ensuring timely financial reports are generated
* Reviewing P&Ls at month end against budgets
* Providing insightful variance analysis explaining all relevant differences
* Balance sheet reconciliations
* Business partnering with stakeholders to improve processes and controls
* Supporting the UK Finance Manager
* Preparing tax and statutory packs
* Ensuring sales invoicing is correct
* Reviewing and approving supplier invoices
* Assisting the FP&A team on budgets and quarterly forecasting process
Key skills & experience includes:
* Part-Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA
* Proven experience in a fast-paced environment within management accounting
* High levels of integrity and attention to detail
* Effective at planning, organisation and ownership of tasks
* Excellent interpersonal skills
* Strong excel skills
* Proven ability to prioritise and manage expectations, working to tight deadlines.
