Interim Management Accountant

We’re looking for an Interim Management Accountant to join an innovative manufacturing company in Southampton that values growth, development, and collaboration. This role will be offered on a temporary basis, for around 5 months.
Reporting to the Finance Director, you'll enjoy the flexibility of hybrid working (3 days in the office, 2 from home), flexible hours and a collaborative team. This role offers an experienced Management Accountant the perfect opportunity to take ownership of management accounts, contribute to impactful projects, and make a tangible difference.
Reporting to the Finance Director, you will be responsible for:

• Production of management accounts – P&L, balance sheet, cost of sales, margin analysis and CAPEX
\n
• Building reports – looking at the general ledger and exports from SAP
\n
• Reporting on variances and providing commentary alongside accounts
\n
• Intercompany and balance sheet reconciliations
\n
• Supporting across a range of internal projects
\n

What you will need:

\n
• Previous experience in a similar role, such as Interim Management Accountant / Management Accountant / Finance Business Partner / Commercial Accountant / Finance Manager / Finance Analyst
\n
• Experience within a manufacturing business would be beneficial
\n
• Strong working knowledge of Excel
\n
• A desire to develop and grow in the role and get involved with new projects and tasks
\n
