Interim Marketing and Revenue Director - High calibre hospitality brandHead office (Oxfordshire) 1-2 days with 2 days at venues across the Midlands and 1-day wfhUp to £130K plus bonus and benefits or day rate equivalent (circa £850)This is a 6-month interim (to permanent) contract and we are open to applicants who are interested in a 6 month contract only, as well as those who may wish to do an interim to permanent contract.*please note the deadline for applications is Midday on Friday 12th July - applicants must have no more than a 4 week notice period/availability to start*The ideal candidate is a B2C, digital first Marketing Director who's worked in the leisure/travel, hospitality, retail or hotel sectors, who's excited by an interim to permanent role to lead a sizeable, capable marketing and revenue team.Interim Marketing and Revenue DirectorWe are seeking a dynamic, driven and digital first Interim Marketing and Revenue Director to drive the next phase of growth for this high calibre hospitality brand. A broad role with a substantial team, the role involves a combination of brand awareness and ecommerce skills (sales are driven through the website). This role would suit an experienced strategic leader who can inspire the marketing and sales teams to continue to drive revenue and sustained profitable growth. With ultimate responsibility for the creation and delivery of the marketing and sales budgets, you’ll oversee all aspects of marketing and sales across both leisure and B2B. Reporting to the board, you will be responsible for managing the marketing budget, driving revenue growth, and enhancing brand presence in the market.Along with revenue management, data analytics and insight, you will have a deep understanding of ecommerce and all things digital to further drive website performance and understand its critical role in sales success.Interim Marketing and Revenue DirectorMain job responsibilities Set commercial objectives and targets in line with the business strategyCreate, develop and implement the marketing and sales planManage the marketing budget effectively, ensuring ROI on marketing investmentOversee a team of 30+ vibrant and talented marketing and sales professionals, providing guidance and support to drive performanceManage website and overall sales performanceCreate a test and learn philosophy to drive digital performance across social, paid, organic, influencer, affiliate, and moreDrive revenue growth through new initiatives and revenue opportunitiesOptimisation of price to maximise yield and revenueDevelop and utilise the database to support revenue growthBalance day-to-day marketing activities with strategic revenue-focused initiativesDemonstrate strategic thinking and commercial acumen in decision-makingEffective and efficient management of the sales team to streamline booking processes, upsell and enhance customer experienceDemonstrate expertise in ecommerce and digital marketing strategies to drive online sales and engagementCultivate brand positioning, consumer experience, and loyalty programs to enhance lifetime valueClose liaison with the operating GMs to drive customer experience, loyalty and salesMonitor market trends, competitor activities, and consumer insights to identify opportunities for growth and innovationEducate, mentor, and develop team members to build a high-performing marketing and sales organisationPerson Specification:Essential:Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related fieldProven track record of success in senior marketing and sales leadership roles, ideally within the leisure/travel, hospitality, retail or hotel sectorsStrong understanding of online and bricks and mortar businessesExcellent strategic planning and analytical skills to drive business growthExtensive knowledge of ecommerce, digital marketing, and branding, with experience across various digital marketing channels (social, paid, organic, influencer, affiliate, etc.)Proficient in revenue and yield management concepts and practicesExceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholdersAbility to lead and inspire a team to achieve ambitious business goalsStrong focus on innovation, creativity, and continuous improvementCommitment to excellence, integrity, and customer satisfactionPlease submit your CV via LinkedIn.
