Interim Senior HR Advisor - 3 months ROUGHLY Recruitment BusinessBased in London 3/4 days a week in officeThe Senior HR Advisor will provide comprehensive advice, support and guidance on all employee relation issues across the business. They will work as a generalist within proactive and responsive HR team to provide pragmatic and business focused recommendations. The Senior HR Advisor should build and develop relationships with managers and employees at all levels and provide best practice advice throughout the organisation. This is a wide-ranging, hands-on role that will involve working closely with Senior Management, including the Board of Directors. Key & Principal Responsibilities:Provide a proactive and comprehensive HR service across the business. Advise managers on terms and conditions of employment and knowledge share best practice with them. Managing complex employee relations cases including dispute resolution, disciplinaries, grievances, absence management, TUPE and redundancy.Conducting meaningful exit interviews and action appropriate feedback to the relevant areasManage staff relationships, promptly respond to queries and manage expectations.Apply HR and business knowledge evidencing appropriate decision-making skills. Interpret and advise on employment law, ensuring legal compliance.Maintaining a keen interest in employment law: keeping well-informed of current changes and potential future developments that could impact the business.Offer an advisory service to employees ensuring that they are fully aware of their rights and entitlements.Managing all benefits, directly and through brokers. Maintaining monthly stats and producing detailed commentary for Senior Managers. Help to drive organisational performance by driving core business objectivesTake responsibility for the implementation of HR policies and practices, ensuring that all HR issues are dealt with within the timescales set out in the procedures of the company handbook. Support the wider HR team with any additional requirements that arise. Key Attributes:Excellent administrative and communication skillsGeneralist HR experience within an HR environment, preferably in a sales driven organisation Key experience of working with and advising line managers, with a strong focus on performance management A creative and analytical thinking style, applying tenacity in the face of obstacles.Confidence to advise and coach employees across all levels of the businessPractically minded: able to deliver outstanding results through new, innovative and more effective ways of workingExcellent interpersonal and negotiation skills with the ability to persuade influence and, when appropriate, challenge with tact and diplomacy. Ability to explain and advise on complex HR matters to an audience unfamiliar with certain terminology, processes and policies.Demonstrate an open and collaborative approach to working.
