About the client
The Management Recruitment Group is seeking an Interim Strategic Estates Manager on behalf of a public sector organisation in East Sussex.
Accountabilities
• Development of an estates strategy, a workplace strategy and assist with the development of decarbonisation and benefits realisation programmes
• Deliver estates capital programmes
• Ensure this organisations estate remains safe, compliant, sustainable, operational and fit for purpose on a day-to-day basis, being responsible for all aspects of statutory compliance, planned maintenance and capital project delivery
• Manage this organisations Estates Strategy Master programme ensuring key milestones and deliverables are achieved
• Responsible for the preparation and presentation of all governance documentation relating to capital project delivery in line with the RIBA Plan of Works and internal PMO procedures
Candidate Requirements
• Available to start at short notice
• Willingness to travel to site as required
• Educated in a relevant field such as architecture, surveying, engineering or construction
• Working towards or full membership of a professional body such as RICS, CIOB or RIBA
• Proven experience carrying out strategic estates management
• Preferably some client-side experience within the public sector
