Interim Turnaround Consultant - Elderly Nursing Home

We are seeking an experienced Interim Turnaround Consultant to lead the improvement of an elderly nursing home in Cumbria. The consultant will be responsible for implementing strategic changes to enhance service delivery, ensuring compliance with CQC standards, and improving overall care quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct a thorough assessment of the current operational practices and identify areas for improvement.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive turnaround plan aimed at improving the quality of care and operational efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with CQC regulations and standards.
• Revise and update care plans to meet individual resident needs effectively.
• Oversee medication management to ensure safe and accurate administration.
• Train and mentor staff to ensure best practices in care delivery.
• Liaise with stakeholders, including residents, families, staff, and regulatory bodies, to communicate progress and address concerns.
• Prepare detailed reports on the progress of the turnaround plan and present findings to senior management.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Ideally you will be a qualified nurse (RGN)
• Proven experience in a similar turnaround role within an elderly nursing home setting.
• In-depth knowledge of CQC regulations and compliance requirements.
• Strong background in service improvements and care plan management.
• Excellent understanding of medication management procedures.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a team towards achieving common goals.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
