Internal Controls Senior Manager - Top Global Insurance Broker

Miryco Consultants are working with one of the top Insurance companies, supporting in the search for an Internal Controls Senior Manager to join the Group Risk Team.The ideal candidate will have experience of developing and embedding control frameworks in a highly dynamic environment, excellent leadership, organisational, communication and relationship skills.As well as the internal controls side of the role, strong leadership skills are required for the managing of juniors, wider risk advisory work, and potential future projects building the risk functionEssential:Knowledge of regulatory and financial market control frameworks e.g. COSO, US SOX.Experience in risk, controls or audit, delivering similar services including controls identification, testing and remediation.Insurance and/ or insurance broking market experience / exposure.Strong verbal, presentation and written communication skills.Excellent relationship and interpersonal skills to support working with a range of stakeholders and cultures.Project management, organisation and time management skills.Ability to work in a complex environment with competing priorities.Desirable:Previous consulting experience in a financial services firm or the Big 4 sharing best practice approaches and insights.Relevant qualifications including risk management or accounting e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIA etc.Language skillsPackage - Competitive Salary/ BonusDays in Office - HybridPlease note, our client is unable to offer sponsorship for this opportunity.
