Our client is an established freight forwarding company who have been operating for over 70+ years and deal with a wide range of industry sectors. The company have 8 sites in the UK and are showing continued growth.

The ideal candidate for this role will have internal sales experience in any industry wanting to move into logistics.

Main Duties:

• Maximising business potential through management and development of existing customer accounts
• Calculating Air, road and ocean quotations.
• To Generate and follow up on sales leads
• Working collaboratively with the operations team
• Staying up to date with market developments and competitors
• Negotiating the best prices with suppliers
• Creating KPI reports

Requirements:

• Strong customer service skills
• Multi-modal freight operations experience (Desirable)
• Export sales experience
• Key account management experience
