Internal Sales Engineer

Internal Sales Engineer required for a well established industrial automation company which distributes, designs and manufactures equipment for production lines, mainly in the food and pharmaceutical sector.

Main responsibilities will be to serve as the primary contact for telephone enquiries, delivering personalised customer service, technical support, and sales solutions tailored to each customer's unique needs.

This may well suit someone from an Engineering background wanting to engage with customers in an office-based role.

Examples of Responsibilities:

• Respond to customer inquiries via email/telephone and help design/select a solution based on customer-provided information


• Host live demonstrations


• Generate quotations and reports for customers as needed.


• Actively help with marketing and exhibitions as required


• Provide technical and commercial assistance to the external sales team

Skills/Experience required:

• Excellent spoken English with a polite telephone manner


• Experience working in the mechanical engineering / manufacturing field


• Hold a Mechanical or Electrical/Electronic Engineering related qualification or relevant experience


• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.


• Experience in technical sales is advantageous
