Internal Sales Executive

Internal Sales Engineer / Sales Coordinator / Technical Advisor required to join a market-leading engineering supplier of electro mechanical products & services.
The successful Internal Sales Engineer / Sales Coordinator / Technical Advisor will be office based near Corby, responsible for generating accurate quotations and proposals, processing orders, managing documentation, and offering technical sales and service support. You will also coordinate with various engineering departments to ensure projects are executed flawlessly and on schedule.
The Internal Sales Engineer / Sales Coordinator / Technical Advisor will ideally come from any sales, customer service or technical background with full training being provided, however having previously sold a product, technical solutions or a background working in a engineering environment or is beneficial.�

Internal Sales Engineer / Sales Coordinator / Technical Advisor Role

• Provide technical advice and guidance on selecting the correct compressed air products and solutions according to customer needs.
• Generate and deliver quotations and proposals for compressed air installations and associated mechanical engineering products.
• Offer technical support and cover for other Sales Engineers and customer service activities, including order processing, expediting, and documentation.
• Manage various aspects of administration, including order processing, invoicing, and verifying order confirmations.
• First point of contact for trade counter customers when required.
• Handle product specifications, after-sales, and service support.
• Coordinate and monitor project timelines, ensuring customer requirements and delivery schedules are met.
• Liaise with various engineering departments.

Internal Sales Engineer / Sales Coordinator / Technical Advisor Requirements

• Determination, enthusiasm, and motivation to succeed and grow with a reputable company.
• Sales, customer service or technical background with full training being provided, however having previously sold a product or a background working in a engineering environment is beneficial.�
• Pump Service Engineer looking to come off the tools and move in to a technical sales role are encouraged to apply.
• Experience as an Internal Sales Engineer, Technical Sales Support Engineer, Engineering Administrator, Contracts Engineer, Proposals Engineer, Sales Executive, Technical Advisor or similar customer service position, ideally within engineering.
• Technical aptitude and/or understanding of engineering equipment - mechanical or industrial engineering products is advantageous but not essential.�
• Apprentice trained, HNC, HND or Degree in engineering would be beneficial.
• Must be commutable to Corby or willing to re locate
