We are seeking an experienced and motivated Internals Site Manager to oversee the internal fit-out stages of a large-scale residential development in Gravesend. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all internal works are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, while adhering to health and safety regulations.



Key Responsibilities:





  • Manage and coordinate all internal fit-out works, including drylining, M&E installations, carpentry, flooring, and final finishes.




  • Ensure that all works are carried out in compliance with building regulations, health and safety guidelines, and company policies.




  • Work closely with subcontractors, suppliers, and the wider site team to maintain project timelines and quality standards.




  • Monitor progress and provide regular updates to the Project Manager, flagging any potential delays or issues.




  • Conduct quality control inspections and ensure all snagging issues are addressed efficiently.




  • Liaise with clients, architects, and consultants to ensure project specifications are met.




  • Maintain accurate site records, including progress reports, health and safety documentation, and material deliveries.




  • Oversee and enforce health and safety measures to ensure a safe working environment.




  • Assist in managing budgets, procurement, and resource allocation related to internal works.





Requirements:





  • Proven experience as an Internals Site Manager or similar role within residential construction.




  • Strong understanding of internal fit-out processes and finishing trades.




  • Experience in managing subcontractors and working to tight deadlines.




  • Excellent communication and leadership skills to drive performance and quality.




  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations in construction.




  • Ability to interpret drawings and specifications.




  • Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office applications.




  • Valid SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certifications.





Desirable:





  • Experience working on large-scale residential developments.




  • NVQ Level 6 or equivalent in Construction Management.
