Job Description:
Our client is a City based law firm with a strong Legal 500 rated commercial litigation practice. The firm is doing exceptionally well and has a significant corporate practice which the disputes partners are able to leverage off. The firm has a number of disputes partners who practice both commercial litigation and international arbitration but no one person specializing exclusively on the international arbitration side. As such, it is seeking a partner to spearhead its international arbitration work.
This partner needs to be well connected in the international arbitration community but also have a loyal client following. There will be work from its extensive client base, but it is important that the partner can bring clients with them, not least to show that they are the right person to tap into the client base and build the international arbitration practice further. The firm is extremely collegiate, very profitable, and sees international arbitration as a key area it is looking to grow.
