Portfolio Procurement has been engaged by our leading Bedfordshire based client to recruit for an Inventory and Purchasing Administrator.

Key purpose of the role:

Contribute towards the improvement of the supply chain function and in turn ensuring an improvement in customer service levels, and the Optomisation of inventory.

Main duties:

  • Checking and approving proforma invoices with suppliers
  • Ensuring freight forwarder booking are made on time
  • Ensuring all costs are loaded on to the system
  • Management of inventory planning
  • Working with and supporting suppliers in maximising delivery performance

Skills and experience required:

  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Computer literate including the use of Excel.
