Investment Analyst

Private Equity fund backed Student Accommodation platform is seeking an Analyst in London to support the analysis of potential acquisitions, projects and developments across the UK student accommodation market. Main Responsibilities: Analyse and underwrite potential acquisitions, projects, developments.Analysing project data related to investing in new properties or managing existing ones.Analyse revenue and public earning reports to spot opportunities for growth and benchmark the company with the market and competitors.Analyse current processes and work on data products to improve processes and make them more efficient, cost-effective, and automatic.Contribute to the success of internal projects by improving processes and sharing key insights based on internal and external data.Work closely with all levels within the firm and are given high-level responsibilities.Experience required:Strong undergraduate degree from a top-tier university with a keen interest in the property/real estate sector.You will have 6 months to 2 years’ experience as an Analyst in the UK real estate sector.Proven track record across the UK real estate market within a leading Property Consultancy/Agency, Investment Manager or Asset Manager or property fund.Those with student/residential sector experience would be an advantage.Demonstrate advanced analytical capabilities including creating, calculating, and interpreting financial models - DCF, NPV, IRR etc.Advanced user of MS Products including ExcelYou have either experience or want to learn SQL and Power BIWell-developed communication skills, both verbal and written, are required.High attention to detailThose with an entrepreneurial mind-set will be well suited.Strong expertise managing projects, processes, and senior stakeholders.Ability to work in a fast-paced environmentHighly motivated, mature, humble, and commercially minded.
