Investment Operations Data Specialist

Leading FTSE listed Wealth Management business require an Investment Operations Data Specialist with Test Management experience.

The role is working on an infrastructure modernisation project, leveraging a Custodian's Data Management service to enable the provision of quality investment data, cumulating in the realisation of an Accountancy Book of Record (ABOR).
- Scalable Data Management Solution for Custody Data
- Creation of an Accounting Book of Record (ABOR)
- Reduces operational risk of sourcing positional data across all asset classes (incl. OTCs), therefore an enabler for more robust risk oversight.
- Enables a more granular / robust controls environment (accessibility to data)

Youi will be required to specifically test the quality of fund accounting, custody and pricing data and be responsible for liaising with both internal and external stakeholders to understand / confirm data attributes / requirements alongside other Data SME's, and then responsible for building out necessary testing documentation (plan / cases / scripts) and conduct the testing themselves.

Required experience in ;

\n

- Understanding of a broad range of investment instruments (equities, FI, Cash like, TRS, CDS etc)
- Knowledge of investment operations (trade lifecycle, corporate actions)
- Understanding of accounting cycles (GL vs trial balance etc)
- Experience working on ABOR and/or IBOR systems
- Setting & evaluation of controls
- SQL skills - ability to write complex queries
- Test experience
- Snowflake experience (optional)

The role is fully remote but you may be asked to attend their London office on an adhoc basis.
