Commercial law firm in London is seeking to recruit two IP/Patent Litigation Solicitors/Barristers one of 0 to 3 years PQE and the other of 4 or more years PQE/Call. The team works across transaction, advisory and litigation matters and has considerable experience advising clients on both domestic and international issues, including on cross-border matters. They advise on the full spectrum of IP rights: patents, copyright, database rights, trade marks, designs, domain names and confidential information (including trade secrets), and has particular strengths in life sciences and in the consumer/retail brand sector, and a growing presence in technology and de-carbonisation. They have built a strong reputation and client base and the successful candidates will have the opportunity to have significant client exposure and take on responsibility for your matters (with appropriate levels of Partner support or not, depending on your PQE). Qualified applicants for this role will need to have a broad knowledge of and experience in patent disputes. You will be expected to advise primarily on both contentious and non-contentious patent matters arising for the most part in the technology and life sciences sectors, although there will also be an opportunity to also advise on non-patent matters across the wider IP practice. You will be comfortable being part of a team advising clients who operate in technically complex industries and will be able to apply your patent knowledge to advise clients in an efficient, effective, and commercial way. In the context of patent litigation, this will mean being able to consider the range of possibilities that might enable clients to achieve their commercial objectives, including litigation, mediation, and arbitration. You will be expected to assist with the business development and marketing activities of the department to secure new clients and maintain relationships with existing clients, as well as developing the team s existing network of contacts. #J-18808-Ljbffr
