Pay: up to £55,000 plus benefits and paid enhancements

Duties of this role include:

• To ensure Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) procedures are adhered to in all areas and are reflected in daily practices at the hospital
• Guaranteeing compliance to the HCAI code (DH 2010) for CQC requirements in England and equivalent hospitals in Scotland and Wales.
• To ensure environmental cleaning procedures are adequate and to ensure staff are adhering to these in the housekeeping department, in partnership with the hospital.
• To support the local Waste Officer in managing the clinical waste stream.
