About the Role:
This role is a Fostering Reviewing Officer and We will only consider CVs from individuals with experience as a Fostering IRO.

Role:
In this role, you will play an integral part of the Fostering Service by monitoring and reviewing the quality and effectiveness of standards of care provided by the council's foster carers and Supported Lodging Hosts. This is achieved through chairing their Annual Foster Carer Review meetings.

Part of your role will also be to:
* Identify strengths and gaps in skill levels and competency, considering any development areas in the foster carer assessment process and provision of support offered to carers.
* To ensure the effective quality of the Supervising Social Workers reports and practice.
* To Identify practice that is not delivering good outcomes and constructively challenge to improve practice.

You will need
* Previous experience as a Fostering IRO undertaking Annual Foster Carer Reviews.

Requirements:
- Social Work England Registered (SWE)
- Enhanced DBS
- Social Work Degree or equivalent
