My clients are a well-established professional business in Norwich and are looking for an IT Account Manager to join their growing team.
Role Overview
As an Account Manager, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and growing our client base, identifying new opportunities and in turn profitable growth. You'll be the primary point of contact for our existing clients, ensuring their needs are met efficiently and effectively. Your ability to build strong relationships, understand client requirements, and provide tailored solutions will be key to your success.
You will also be tasked with creating and managing a sales pipeline, maintaining regular communication with customers via phone, email, and in-person meetings, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience across all business interactions.
Role Responsibilities
· Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.
· Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling services
· Producing customer forecasts and strategies
· Prepare accurate estimates for new and existing client IT requirements
· Meeting and presenting to customers regularly
· Escalating customer issues through the relevant channels
· Attending network events
· Generate new business opportunities through telesales from an existing customer database
· Work independently to achieve a monthly KPI and Sales Targets
· Will be proficient in prospecting effectively and managing the entire sales cycle
· Keep up to date with new products and services
Skills, Knowledge & Experience
· Experience in a technically focused account management role or previous sales role
· Strong relationship building and management skills
· Strong commercial acumen – numerate, data driven
· A high level of attention to detail, especially when handling multiple tasks.
· Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence effectively at all levels of the organization
· Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £26,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
