In this role, you will work towards your Information Communications Technician Apprenticeship, delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships.
A Typical Day in the Job:
A wide range of first line duties
Utilising tools such as Datto, Windows, Events logs and Commvault
Installing, configuring, and monitoring software/hardware
Monitoring and route checks on servers
Resolving technical issues and monitoring systems and software
Working with VPN'S, Access points, monitoring devices and supporting data backups
Monitor network connection internally
Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the Baltic team.
Salary, Hours & Benefits:
£18000-£20000 Per annum
Monday Thursday - 8:30 am 5:30 pm, Friday 8:30 am 5 pm
20 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays
3 extra days holiday for each year service up to 35 days holidays
Equipment provided - laptop, mobile phone, and work clothes

Desired Qualities, Skills, and Knowledge:
Enthusiastic about IT and technology knowledge of hardware and software is welcomed
Great customer service skills experience is beneficial
Effective communication skills
Ability to work well in a team and independently
Motivated to learn
GCSE Grade 5 English and 4 in Maths
