Key Responsibilities:
Lead the implementation and management of the IT Category Management Program, ensuring alignment with Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) and Contract Management principles.
Oversee and execute all tender processes and market approaches for IT stakeholders, managing spend across the category.
Continuously apply in-depth market knowledge to support effective category management strategies.
Build and manage strong stakeholder relationships within the category, fostering collaboration across functions and business units.
Develop and maintain management reports, perform spend analysis, and track value improvements for the business.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives for managed contracts and monitor the value delivered to the business.
Coach and mentor team members across all operating locations, promoting succession planning and contributing to organizational growth.
Develop and maintain strong connections across the site to facilitate early engagement and ensure adherence to Purchasing Fundamentals.
Effectively influence stakeholders involved in the category of spend to align with procurement strategies and objectives.
Knowledge, Key Skills & Experience:
A relevant technical or business degree is preferred however, equivalent experience will also be considered.
At least 10 years of purchasing experience in a related role, with proven expertise in managing the IT Category.
Demonstrated success in negotiation, supplier relationship management, contract management, and category management principles.
Proficiency in ERP systems, with a strong emphasis on SAP knowledge.
Experience with SAP Ariba.
Demonstrable track record of Cyber Security compliance in Contracting.
