We are partnered with one of the UK's largest tech companies, powering businesses nationwide. We're seeking a Technology Procurement Manager to fulfil this new role on a hybrid working basis based in Birmingham.

This role is pivotal in elevating the strategic IT procurement capabilities, driving innovation, and fostering strong relationships with the technology teams. We're seeking a motivated individual to lead transformative initiatives and contribute significantly to our business's growth.

What You Will Do:

  • Develop and execute category strategies for key areas within the technology organisation.
  • Provide high-value procurement consultation aligned with business needs.
  • Lead sourcing activities and negotiations for complex IT contracts.
  • Utilise market insights to drive efficiencies and global cost savings.
  • Manage supplier relationships to maximise benefits and mitigate risks.
  • Drive conversations on technology innovation with stakeholders.
  • Foster a culture of data-driven decision-making and procurement automation.
  • Implement effective contract and supplier risk management practices.

What You Will Have:

  • Strong technology expertise, ideally in Cloud, DevOps, AI, Cybersecurity, etc.
  • Proven market knowledge driving strategic procurement decisions.
  • Robust procurement and contract management experience.
  • Ability to influence change in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivation, delivery focus, and problem-solving skills.
  • Gravitas to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • CIPS or equivalent qualification/experience.
