IT Project Manager (Azure Synapse)

Copello are pleased to be partnered with an international consulting and technology organisation, recruiting for an IT Project Manager to join the UK team onsite with a key customer based in Glasgow.
The IT Project Manager will have a strong background in Azure Cloud, with proven experience of leading and delivering cloud-based projects. With a proven track record of successfully delivering complex IT projects, excellent organisational and leadership skills and deep expertise in Azure Cloud services (or AWS).
Key Responsibilities;
Project Management – Lead and manage multiple it projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope and within budget
Azure / AWS Cloud Expertise – Utilise your expertise to design, implement and manage cloud-base solutions that meet project and business requirements
Stakeholder Engagement – Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to define project objectives, deliverables and requirements throughout the project lifecycle
Client Engagement – work closely with clients whilst providing project updates, whilst maintaining strong relationships, fostering loyalty and ensuring long term satisfaction
Business Development – Identify and pursue new business opportunities, understanding client needs and proposing appropriate solutions
Qualifications and Experience;
PM Experience – Have a proven track record in a similar position delivering complex it projects on time and within budget. Ideally have experience of Agile Scrum & Kanban
Technical Experience – In depth, hands on knowledge of Azure Cloud service, including architecture, deployment and management as well as Azure synapse, pyspark, sql, jira etc.
Problem Solving – strong analytical and problem solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving solutions
Certifications – Project Management Professions (PMP) or similar (APM, Prince 2 ETC) and Azure certifications (Microsoft certified, azure solutions architect, azure administrator)
This position is based in Glasgow but offers a very attractive hybrid working approach.
