We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven IT Sales Business Development Manager (BDM) to join our team and drive the growth of our IT sales portfolio across the UK. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced sales professional with a strong background in IT services, managed solutions, and cloud sales.

The IT Sales BDM will focus primarily on our portfolio, which includes Hardware Break/Fix Services, Managed Services, Data Centre Services, and IT Solutions, targeting the SME and corporate market. This is a 50% account management and 50% new business generation role, where you will play a pivotal part in both maintaining and expanding our customer base. You will be based at our head office in Wakefield and will work closely with a collaborative team to increase productivity and maximise sales opportunities.

Roles and Responsibilities:

\n- \nBusiness Development: Proactively seek out new business opportunities and build relationships with potential clients within the SME and corporate sectors.
\n- \nAccount Management: Maintain and grow existing client relationships, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and identifying opportunities to upsell and cross-sell additional services.
\n- \nSales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet and exceed targets in IT services, managed solutions, cloud services, and data centre offerings.
\n- \nCollaborative Teamwork: Work closely with other team members to increase overall sales productivity and achieve company-wide objectives.
\n- \nCustomer Relationships: Leverage existing relationships and networks to accelerate sales, ensuring you hit the ground running with minimal onboarding time.
\n- \nNegotiation & Closing: Lead the negotiation process and close deals that align with customer needs and company goals.
\n- \nSales Reporting & Forecasting: Regularly update the sales pipeline, providing accurate forecasts and reports to management.

Key Requirements:
\n
\n- \nProven IT Sales Experience: A track record of success in IT sales, particularly within Managed Services, Cloud Solutions, or IT Solutions.
\n- \nSales Expertise: Experience in both new business generation and account management with a deep understanding of the IT sales cycle.
\n- \nTarget Driven: Demonstrable success in meeting and exceeding sales targets. You are a self-motivated, money-driven individual who thrives in a fast-paced sales environment.
\n- \nCommercial Acumen: Strong understanding of customer objectives and the ability to tailor solutions to meet those needs effectively.
\n- \nRelationship Building: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to develop and nurture long-term client relationships.
\n- \nSelf-Starter: Energetic, highly motivated, and capable of working independently to drive results.
\n- \nNetwork: Existing client relationships within the IT services or managed services sector will be a distinct advantage.
