As a Senior Scientist in Cyber Security Research, you'll work alongside leading experts to protect the organisation from evolving cyber threats and contribute to innovative solutions in a dynamic, multicultural environment.MUST HOLD SC CLEARANCE!Key Responsibilities:Collaboration:Engage in cyber security innovation activities with internal and external peers.Provide expert consultation on specialist cyber security subjects.Support external digital security innovation agreements and partnerships.Coordination:Facilitate the transition of innovative knowledge and technologies into the organisations operations.Represent Digital Security at global conferences and events.Build and maintain a network across the organisation among subject matter peers and stakeholders.Innovation:Conduct state-of-the-art research projects in digital security.Perform horizon scanning and maintain market awareness.Develop prototype solutions and publish research findings.Deliver innovation projects within budget, quality, and time constraints.Key Outputs:Innovation solutions including physical prototypes, software, configurations, and technical reports.Horizon scan and market study technical reports.Research proposals and knowledge of external research funding opportunities.Profile Requirements:Educational Background:Must have a BSc degree in Computer Science with a focus on Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning.Experience:Must have digital security experience in a relevant specialist area.Must have experience in research, innovation, and/or solution development.Technical Skills:Specialist knowledge in Data Analytics, Machine Learning, and Artificial Intelligence.Some knowledge of Security Architecture, Cyber Forensics and Incident Response, Industrial Control Cyber Security, Network Security, Cloud Security, Cryptography, Security Monitoring, Cyber Risk Management, and Secure Software Development.
